The Scale of the Problem and Our Solution
As a result of the war, more than 50,000 veterans have sustained injuries, including amputations. Existing rehabilitation centres cover less than 20% of the actual need.
5 Areas of Recovery
The project operates as a multidisciplinary hub with a complete rehabilitation cycle:
1. Medical and Palliative Care
Round-the-clock professional care and modern pain management for patients experiencing severe consequences of injuries.
2. Physical Rehabilitation
Comprehensive restoration of mobility in an accessible environment, including pre-prosthetic and post-prosthetic rehabilitation.
3. Prosthetic Manufacturing
A high-tech local cycle of prosthetic production using CAD/CAM and 3D printing, as well as ongoing maintenance and servicing.
4. Psychosocial Support
Evidence-based treatment of PTSD and the consequences of combat-related stress for veterans and their family members.
5. Economic Reintegration
A training environment for professional retraining in areas such as agricultural technologies and processing, helping participants achieve financial independence.
Location: Nemyriv
